Up and Running Podiatrists are not only foot and ankle biomechancis experts but we love to run! It is this love of running and fine tuning of our own techniques over many years, that has lead to us offering this professional podiatry service.
To avoid injury we need to be conscious of our ‘load’ and our ‘volume’. Improved running technique is one of the simplest ways to reduce the impact applied on our bodies with each step. Multiple this over the course of a marathon and it makes a huge a difference to your energy expenditure and performance!
We see a lot of runners in the clinic who love to run but have NEVER been shown how. With guided assessment, simple adjustments and running drills, we can have you moving more efficiently and put a spring in your step!
